The Method
V-You is the home of The Cole Vocal Method, a master holistic vocal method that builds the voice from foundation to mastery. Built on 40 years of vocal science, the CVM works the source and targets what other techniques miss. Classes are taught in an interactive live format on Zoom, in a private group setting hands-on with Cari.
The Cole Vocal Method is built in 3 Levels. Level I builds the Foundation Level II is the Intermediate command of the instrument, and Level III takes you to Advanced mastery. Enrollment opens each October.

The Founder: Cari Cole
Cari Cole is a celebrity and holistic vocal coach, artist development expert, music mentor, and founder of the Cole Vocal Method. When can I join the Voice YOUniversity?
The Studio seat is a monthly membership, so you can join V-You at any time.
The year-long programs opens in October.
The programs: Vocal Mastery II and II open every October. You can purchase Vocal Mastery ala carte with your Studio membership, or bundled inside The Academy Seat.
The Intensives:
The four Intensives open for enrollment every three months, in October, January, April, and July.
The Academy
The Academy presents a full curriculum for Year One and Year Two starting in October. The curriculum includes The Vocal Freedom Circle, The Vocal Mastery Program and the Four Intensives.
If you are ready now, start with The Studio so you can be in the room with Cari every month while you prepare for the October curriculum or to join an Intensive. The Vocal Freedom Circle, our self-study foundation, is also available to start whenever you are ready.
How to I know if this membership is right for me?
If you have been singing for a while and you can feel more in there, this is for you. What is the difference between The Studio and The Academy seat?
There are two ways in, so you can join at the level that fits where you are right now.
The Studio is where you start, and The Academy is the all-in year. The Studio is an always-open monthly membership that puts you in the room with Cari every month, with two Live Sessions, the Private Global Community, four Resource Libraries, and member pricing on every course. The Academy gives you everything in The Studio plus your full year of curriculum bundled at the best rate. Go month to month at your own pace with The Studio, or take the complete year with The Academy, which is the path we recommend.
Do I need to be enrolled in V-YOU to access the programs or curriculum?
Yes. A V-YOU membership, starting with The Studio, is the home the curriculum lives in. When you join, you get access to the programs at the ala-carte Studio discount, the community, the monthly Voice Mastermind with Cari, all under one roof.
Can I join The Studio now and upgrade to The Academy later?
Yes. The Studio is a natural stepping stone to The Academy. You can join The Studio and enroll in courses à la carte at member pricing whenever you are ready, and you can move up to The Academy to get your full year of curriculum bundled at the best rate. The upgrade path to The Academy membership opens in October.
What if I join in September but can’t commit to the full October curriculum yet?
Start with The Studio, and you will have access to the Live Monthly Voice Mastermind, The Accelerator Session with Cari and the Community Forum right away. When you are ready, you can enroll in the Vocal Freedom Circle to begin with CVM Level I.
Then, when the October enrollment window opens to purchase the year long program or join The Academy (full curriculum), you can decide whether you are ready to step up into the Vocal Mastery Program, or add one of our additional courses one at a time.
Is there a prerequisite to join the Vocal Mastery Program Level II?
There is no prerequisite to join The Vocal Mastery Program Level II. The Vocal Mastery Program teaches both Level I and Level II of the Cole Vocal Method, so you do not need prior training to begin. If you have already completed the Vocal Freedom Circle, the Vocal Mastery Program is the natural live next step to deepen the work.
What if I have already taken the Vocal Mastery Program, should I join?
Yes, and here is why. The Vocal Mastery Program gives you the training, and the membership is how you keep the gains and keep growing. In The Studio you stay in the room with Cari every month through the Voice Mastermind and the Vocal Accelerator, with the community, the libraries, and member pricing on everything you add. If you have completed Vocal Mastery Program II, the next step is Vocal Mastery Program III, the advanced year, which opens each October and is included in the Academy. Your voice is an instrument, and an instrument needs to be played. This is where you keep it sharp and keep climbing.
Is this right for me if I’m outside the United States?
Yes. We are a global community. The live masterclass sessions and the Voice Mastermind are conducted over Zoom and accessible from anywhere in the world, and session times are scheduled to accommodate international members as much as possible. Details on session timing are provided upon enrollment.
The Courses + Curriculum
What is the difference between the Vocal Freedom Circle and the Vocal Mastery Program?
The Vocal Freedom Circle is a self-study program. It runs 8 weeks at your own pace and covers the foundations of CVM Level I, which makes it a powerful starting point.
The Vocal Mastery Program teaches Level I and II in a live interactive setting, giving you a full year of weekly live masterclass sessions with Cari Cole personally, covering Level I and Level II of the Cole Vocal Method. Level I is reinforced at the top of Level II because it is a robust curriculum on it’s own that needs review. Then in Month 4 Level II curriculum begins.
Many Vocal Freedom Circle students find that the Vocal Mastery Program is the natural next step, the place where the self-study work finally gets reinforced, they get direct access to Cari in class where their experience of the Method gets deepened, and taken further.
What is covered in Vocal Master Program II and III?
Vocal Mastery Program II is the intermediate level of the Cole Vocal Method. It builds resonance and agility, strengthens the belt, and smooths the passaggio, so you gain strength, range, and endurance across the bridge, covering more than 190 exercises across Levels I and II. The first three months include a complete review of Level I taught live, so you can start here and learn Levels I and II together.
Vocal Mastery Program III is the advanced level, the deepest training Cari teaches, carrying you into more than 150 advanced exercises for big power notes, long held notes, riffing, speed, flexibility, higher range, and the finishing techniques that polish a professional voice. Both are a full year of live Zoom training and open each October.
Both levels are taught within the single year of the Vocal Mastery Program, so you are not waiting two years to reach the intermediate-level work.

Both are monthly live sessions with Cari Cole personally, open to every V-YOU member regardless of tier. For one hour every month, the science meets your voice. You bring your voice, your challenges, and your specific ceiling, and Cari teaches in real time, the same way she teaches in the studio and the same way she has taught Grammy-winning artists and recovering singers for 40 years. This is not a pre-recorded webinar, and it is not a moderated Q&A. It is direct access to Cari, every month.
What is the difference between the Voice Mastermind + the Vocal Accelerator Sessions?
The Voice Mastermind is your monthly touchpoint with Cari held Live on Zoom. Each month she presents a vital topic on voice to present to you with full slides and learning with a little time at the end for questions.
The Vocal Accelerator is your monthly voice lesson with Cari held Live on Zoom. Each month you hop on for a lesson while Cari teaches from the Cole Vocal Method. The Cole Vocal Method works the source and provides solutions that other techniques miss.
How much live time do I get with Cari in V-YOU?
Every V-YOU membership includes two live sessions with Cari each month, the Monthly Voice Mastermind and the Vocal Accelerator, in both The Studio and The Academy. When you enroll in a program like the Vocal Mastery Program or an Intensive, you get even more, with three live classes a month, including Masterclasses where Cari teaches the method and a monthly coaching call where she works directly with your voice. The deeper into the curriculum you go, the more live time you get.
Are the Sessions recorded if I can’t attend live?
Yes. All sessions are recorded for replay and are uploaded within 24 hours. We encourage participants to attend live when they can, but if you are in a different time zone or at work, you can watch the replays. For those who can’t attend Live, Cari will answer questions submitted ahead of time. Submit questions for upcoming classes at least 48 hours prior to info@caricole.com.
What kinds of questions can I bring to the these sessions?
All questions are welcome. Most people ask about technique or how to solve issues or challenges with their voice. When your question is addressed, the whole room learns from it, and that is the power of the masterclass format. The best part is listening as questions will arise that you didn’t even know you had.
Is the Vocal Accelerator a replacement for a private lesson?
The Vocal Accelerator is a group vocal lesson teaching the broader audience a particular area of focus from the Cole Vocal Method each month. Participants get a customized lesson plan moving through V-You and specific questions pertaining to your voice can be discussed at the sessions.
How much time does it take, and when will I see results?
The method is built for focused, consistent practice of about 20 minutes a day, five days a week. Many singers feel a difference in their tone and range within the first couple of weeks, and the deep, structural gains arrive over about six months of consistent work. Your time each week depends on your tier. The Studio asks for as little as two hours a month for classes, and once you enroll in a program you add its live classes plus daily practice. Every session is recorded, so if life happens you never fall behind. The more you put in, the faster the transformation

What is the CVM Vocal Coach Certification?
Can I get Certified without enrolling in the Vocal Mastery Program?
The certification is built on the Cole Vocal Method, which means you need to know the method from the inside out. The Vocal Mastery Program Level II is where you learn it live, with Cari, week by week, and the certification work runs alongside it. By the time you are certified, you have lived the method rather than only studied it
The only way to get certified to teach the Cole Vocal Method is to enroll in the Vocal Mastery Program with the adjunct Certification path.
Do I need to be a singer or already teaching to pursue the CVM Coach Certification?
Yes you need to be a singer, but you do not have to have previously taught. Certification is open to singers who have not taught or coaches who already teach. Prior teaching experience is not required, though it is highly recommended. This certification is designed for serious vocal coaches who are ready to take their practice to the highest level.
What does the CVM Certification give me that other certifications don’t?
Most vocal coach certifications teach physiology or anatomy. The CVM Certification teaches the biomechanical science behind the technique, so you understand not only what to teach but why it works. Your students hit ceilings because that science was never available to their coaches, and the CVM Certification puts it in your hands. We know that real singers make better coaches, and your own growth is the key. No other certification is built on this lineage, this methodology, or this depth of vocal science.
