This month, I’ll be talking about all the different ways I love to use to De-Stress. And don’t we artists seriously need that, huh?!
Check out these great ways to De-Stress
- Yoga – Yoga has finally become a household word. Perhaps because it is one of the most effective forms of physical exercise that de-stresses the body and promotes the breath. In today’s harried lifestyle, this kind of practice is a godsend. There are all different styles of hatha yoga — from Ashtanga to Bikram – and you know, everyone can benefit from learning and practicing some simple poses. For the more serious yoga enthusiast, you can develop a real ‘yogi’s’ routine by doing a little of all the different approaches — Go to a “hot” yoga class and do some Bikram or check out Shannon and David Life’s Jivamukti on Lafayette in NYC.. great stuff.
- Massage and bodywork – and even self massage which you can apply when you can’t get to a professional —save time and money and even help you avoid getting sick.
- Don’t forget Meditation, too!
