I’ve noticed that often singers assume that singing better high notes or low notes means reaching up or down respectively. The truth is that reaching up or down physically interferes with the natural movement needed to produce higher or lower notes and can strangle the singer.
*The truth is that high notes are not UP and low notes are not DOWN.”
*Reach “down” for higher pitches (not “up)”
So remember, try reaching “down” for higher pitches. Actually imagine the higher note is a lower note. How would you approach it differently?
Happy Vocalizing!!
