While you are working your actions – getting your daily down – writing / singing / playing your daily dos – and placing your daily into your bigger game plan and vision, you have to be asking yourself “What do I want to create for myself?”
Remember what I said last week, ” So as you’re getting better at your daily, and that you too, like the Nautilus Shell need to keep building a bigger compartment so you can grow your game plan and stretch bigger and bigger. Your vision always needs to be stretched bigger than what you’re doing now — You have to expand your vision out.” Be like that nautilus and keep building a bigger and bigger space to grow into.
Now I want to come at you from another direction – not from the doing, but from being! Being the desire — the desire you have to be an artist (or whatever other desires you may have).
It all starts with Desire. When you have the desire, the goals emerge, the action is created – and in the moment of doing the action, you are confirming your desire! Full circle.
Because, after all, your actions are the confirmation or affirmation of your desire and your goals.
I want you to know that you are the creator of your world. We can’t create the world around us (if we needed any confirmation of that, the earthquake in Haiti has brought that so painfully home to everyone)- but we can create our place in that world.
Everything in your life is a result of what you believe you are, what you can be and can do.
I find that a lot of us are waiting for something to come from outside – for some lucky break or whatever.
Waiting for it to happen ~ keeps it from happening.
I say: “Go ahead and create this amazing rich universe in which you live, woven with this tapestry of your desire … And while you weave, watch what happens in your life.”
Say out loud this week – “I am capable”, or “I am taking action”, or “I am capable of creating the life I love“. I am pointing to my true north” >> Desire > Goals > Action > True North
In 2010, learn how to harness the power of your written word and the power of your spoken word. Remember: Make it so, because you say it so.
